Tom spent 30 years in national and local television journalism — including a decade at CNN, investigative work at WVUE-TV in New Orleans, and a role as Assistant News Director at WJTV 12 News in Jackson, Mississippi. His work has earned a Peabody Award, DuPont-Columbia Awards, National Murrow Awards, an IRE Award, a Suncoast Emmy, and a Scripps Howard Award, among others.
